“Luca is using the stairs again”
Luca is a 14-year-old Polish Tatra Sheepdog and weighs 41 kg. In recent years, he has increasingly suffered from age-related ailments: stiff joints, slipping on the floor, and the stairs had been an insurmountable obstacle for months. We helped him up and down every time, but that's not ideal for our age either. Friends had been using Dog Socky for a while and recommended it. For the first two days, he clearly had to get used to them: he kept trying to take the socks off himself and walked a bit awkwardly. But on day three, something seemed to click. He started walking more and was less cautious with each step. Yesterday morning, we heard him coming up the stairs. By himself. Without us having helped him. We know that socks are not a miracle cure and that he is 14. But the anti-slip gives him confidence in his own body, and we are seeing a part of the old playful Luca return.
