Tom, a special-needs teacher, spent years looking for a solution for his senior Golden Retriever with arthritis. After 2 years of development and testing, Dog Socky was born.
Wim
Wim is a big animal lover who adopted his senior French Bulldog. His practical experience with older dogs was indispensable in the testing and development of Dog Socky.
How did Dog Socky come about?
Dog Socky was born out of frustration: senior dogs struggling on smooth floors. Dogs that suddenly hesitate at the stairs, slip in the kitchen or get up less easily than before. Not because they don't want to, but because they no longer can, due to a lack of grip and stability.
We looked for a solution for our senior dogs. What we found on the market disappointed every time. Socks without the necessary grip, socks that don't fit well, socks that fell off the paws after 2 minutes. So we developed Dog Socky: a sock with double-sided silicone grip and an elastic strap so it stays in place and doesn't slide off.
