Tom, a special education teacher, spent years looking for a solution for his senior Golden Retriever with arthritis. After 2 years of development and testing, Dog Socky was born.
Wim
Wim is a great animal lover who adopted his senior French bulldog. His practical experience with older dogs was indispensable in the testing and development of Dog Socky.
How did Dog Socky come about?
Dog Socky arose from a frustration: senior dogs struggling on slippery floors. Dogs that suddenly hesitate on stairs, slip in the kitchen, or get up less easily than before. Not because they don't want to, but because they can no longer do it due to a lack of grip and stability.
We looked for a solution for our senior dogs. What we found on the market was always disappointing. Socks without the necessary grip, socks that didn't fit properly, socks that fell off their paws after 2 minutes. So we developed Dog Socky: a sock with double-sided silicone grip and an elastic Velcro strap so it stays put and doesn't slip off.
